Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park, Twizel

This lakeside resort was a mix of stunning scenery and disappointing facilities. While the camping ground is set against a beautiful turquoise lake and has some decent amenities, my experience was marred by noise disturbances and lack of cleanliness. The cabin was basic but adequate for a quick stay, yet the overall value felt lacking given the price and state of the facilities.
